Parking Information: Due to the anticipated large turnout, parking within Soundside Park will not be available. Plan accordingly and consider alternative parking options or carpooling to ease traffic congestion.

Celebrating our country’s birthday is a nationwide event, and Swansboro serves up its Independence Day Celebration each year with live music at the Harry C. Pugliese, Jr. Pavilion at Olde Town Square, culminating with awe-inspiring fireworks show over the water for all to see.
The Independence Day Celebration is July 3 and begins at 6 pm. Fireworks are at 9 pm. There will be food/snack vendors and encourage patrons to visit the downtown restaurants. For more information, please contact Swansboro Parks and Recreation at 910-326-2600.
Streets will be closed on July 3rd from 3 pm until approximately 11 pm. We ask for your cooperation with having the streets cleared of vehicles no later than 3 pm.
The streets affected by the closures are:

Main Street will be closed at Water Street for eastbound traffic

Head to Rustic Barn for a night of live entertainment starting with the soulful sounds of Alex Williams, affiliated with Kool & the Gang, followed by the Carolina rhythms of the I-42 Band. The evening culminates in a GRAND FINALE Fireworks Show by NC Fireworks!
The Rustic Barn at Half Moon is thrilled to announce our very first concert on July 4th, 2024, from 4pm to 10pm EST!
